Alanna Mackenzie has joined the firm as an associate. As a civil litigator, Alanna has experience in diverse fields including commercial, professional regulatory, aboriginal, and environmental law. Before joining Mackenzie Fujisawa, she resolved complex matters at all levels of court while practicing at boutique firms in downtown Vancouver. She has also represented clients in commercial arbitration and administrative tribunal proceedings.
During law school, Alanna volutneered for the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program and Pro Bono Students Canada. She studied abroad in Dublin and went on to article for a national environmental law charity. Alanna has a BA in history and a JD from the University of British Columbia, with a specialization in Environmental and Natural Resource Law. She was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2016.
Out of the office, Alanna enjoys spending time with her family. She is an outdoor enthusiast with a keen interest in hiking and sea kayaking.
