Ian was admitted to the British Columbia bar in 2013. He maintains a diverse litigation practice and has experience representing a broad range of clients involved in commercial disputes and judicial review proceedings and statutory appeals, and who are charged with regulatory, quasi-criminal or criminal offences. Ian also represents insurers and insureds on a variety of matters, including personal injury and professional negligence claims. He has appeared in all levels of court in British Columbia, as well as the Federal Court of Canada, and has represented clients in a variety of administrative tribunal proceedings, from the Residential Tenancy Board to the British Columbia Utilities Commission.

Away from the office, Ian and his wife Lauren have a new baby boy who occupies most of their free time. In the past, and hopefully in the future, Ian enjoys working on classic cars and tending to the family garden.
